Agape Youth and Family Center

Agape Youth and Family Center’s mission is to empower and support underserved families within its community to discover, embrace, and achieve their full potential. Agape achieves this mission by providing academic support and family services focusing on character development, academic achievement, reading proficiency by third grade, successful high school graduation and post-graduation placement.

Our vision is to see the end of generational poverty in the Bolton Rd. Community. Agape offers 8-week Summer Camp programming to all the students enrolled in the After-School Program, plus rising kindergarten students. We have three distinct camps within the Summer Camp:

  • Camp Jump Smart – Camp Jump Smart (CJS) is a camp for rising kinder through 2nd grade. CJS prepares students for their next grade level and focuses on math and reading readiness while also ensuring summer is a load of fun.
  • FIT Camp and Go Girl Go – FIT Camp and GoGirlGo! (FITGGG) is a gender-based camp for rising 3rd through 7th grade. FITGGG enhances camper's sense of value and self-worth by providing opportunities that encourage campers to take risks while expanding their boundaries through fun experiences, academic reinforcement, camp competition, critical thinking, STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) activities, and social/emotional learning.
  • Camp Elevate – Camp Elevate is a camp for rising 8th through 12th grade students. Elevate promotes character development through fun outdoor adventures and challenges campers to explore their individual interests.

Campers are empowered to discover their full potential by engaging in community advocacy and exploring post-secondary options.
