Internship Description

The intern will be a trail monitor at various public preserves owned or managed by the Indian River Land Trust. Mornings will encompass walking or biking the trails to assess and photograph trail conditions, speaking to trail users about their experiences, and counting trail users. Occasional visits to public trails at other state or federal preserves will provide some context to Land Trust preserves. Afternoons will be spent mostly in an office setting or at home (depending on the status of COVID in our community) tabulating, analyzing and summarizing user data and creating and updating reports on trail conditions.
