The IAB and its members work together to develop technical standards and best practices and field critical to research on interactive advertising, while also education brands, agencies, and the wider business community on the importance of digital marketing.
The IAB Education Foundation and its diversity initiative, iDiverse, work to promote diversity in the ever-expanding digital advertising industry, while also working to close the skills gap through education and workforce training. Our goal is to reach out and train under-served constituencies to increase the racial, gender, economic, and cultural diversity in the industry and to provide a significant pool of qualified workers. The Foundation is looking for an intern to assist with marketing, events, social media outreach, copy editing, website editing, Salesforce administrative work, company/contact research.
An intern would work on research projects related to finding industry contacts for the IAB Education Foundation, members of the industry particularly in the HR/Diversity & Inclusion space, as well as contacts at the C-Suite level, for us to be connected with. Once such information is found, the intern would update our database with such information. The intern would also provide copy and update the IAB Education Foundation website, and learn how to maintain and add information to the iDiverse nonprofit directory. The intern would gain research, copywriting and editing skills, be able to help with events and meetings that the Foundation creates and hosts, and to network with members of the digital advertising industry.
Qualifications for an intern would be keen attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking, strong writing and editing skills, and most of all, a collaborative and energetic nature.
Prior experience in media, advertising, or diversity & inclusion work not necessary but helpful.

I connected with the service mission and was really glad to see that the non-profit was having an active effect in the lives of the people its mission sought to help. I learned that I do greatly value civic service and like to see the intersection of service and corporate responsibility.
