New Door Ventures

In the Bay Area, there are 80,000 youth ages 16 –24 disconnected from employment and education. Without connecting to school and work during this critical time, these young people are at high risk to be poor, unemployed, homeless or incarcerated throughout their adult lives.

New Door Ventures connects opportunity youth to work and education through paid, meaningful jobs, skills training, educational support, and individualized case management. We believe that one job can change a life, helping to transform individuals who will, in turn, transform their communities.

We have had three positive experiences hosting a PICS intern and are excited to hosting another curious, detail-oriented person on New Door's small-but-mighty Marketing and Development team.

PICs interns have been a huge support in assisting with the planning and content of New Door's large-scale, annual event, setting us up for success for end of year giving season, as well as building capacity in regards to communications processes and analytics tracking.
