Internship Description

Responsibilities include answering the telephones, logging constituent opinions, correspondence, and casework, greeting visitors to the office, leading constituents on Capitol tours and assisting members of the staff with administrative tasks, and ad hoc projects.

Housing Information

Housing is available in many different ways. There are housing programs: WISH (Washington Intern Student Housing), the WIHN (Washington Intern Housing Network), and Thompson Markward Hall. Local universities also offer summer housing: GW (George Washington University), American University, Catholic University of America, and Georgetown University. Students can also sublet or rent an apartment for the short-term: the Facebook Group: Washington D.C. Housing, Rooms, Apartments, Sublets or Airbnb.
