Partners empowers low-income victims and survivors of domestic violence to build safe and secure futures for themselves and their children by providing equal access to justice.
Partners for Women and Justice is a non-profit public interest law firm that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of domestic violence and sexual assault victims through legal representation, advice and counseling sessions, and by advocating for procedural and legislative change to benefit victims.
Partners seeks a policy-communications intern to work with Partners' policy team on legislative and advocacy priorities. Current projects are focused on access to economic relief for survivors, language access in the courts, and reimagining the role of law enforcement in responding to domestic violence.

Work can be done in a hybrid fashion with ideally at least part time in the office. We are located near rail and bus service and accessible to New York City. There is summer housing available at Montclair State University and probably at other college locations.
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, social justice and/or ending gender based violence.
- Fluency in Spanish,
- Familiarity with canva, infographics, and data analysis preferred.
Writing Sample Required
- 5 page maximum sample with persuasive reasoning and/or analytical analysis.
