SMOG has grown to be the premier orthopedic practice in West Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

The SMOG Foundation, a 501c3 organization,  is committed to interaction with the local and national community to provide a safe environment for athletes at all levels of participation. Community action through education and guidance of coaches, trainers, athletes and parents provides a service which improves the health of young athletes. An effort to engage all levels of the community encourages healthy physical activity and emphasizes prevention of injury during vigorous sport.

In addition to our physicians, our group has assembled a highly qualified team of professionals to assist patients in every way possible. Having Princeton interns participate in this internship could solidify their decision of possibly going into medicine.

Evaluation Excerpt

It is always such an amazing and rewarding feeling to help someone get back to their normal life and helping them become pain free. This internship accomplished both of those things. It was amazing to learn all about the anatomy and how orthopaedic surgery operates.
—Nikolai Morokhovich '20

I have learned a lot about my own interests and aspirations in medicine and in the future in general. It was a very eye opening experience and one I am tremendously grateful for as I was able to acquire a true understanding of what it means to work as a surgeon in orthopaedic medicine. This was important to me heading into the summer.
—Vanessa Gregoire '18
