Veterans Campaign

Veterans Campaign is the only non-partisan, non-ideological organization whose mission is to encourage, mentor and prepare veterans for a "second service" in civic leadership. Veterans Campaign’s goal is to demystify the process of running for office, and make it accessible to veterans who are interested in continuing their service as elected officials.

We offer veterans and military family members different tools and opportunities to pursue their second service. Veterans Campaign facilitates training workshops, hosts speaker series featuring elected veterans and campaign practitioners, and conducts research into veterans in politics.

We are a small team of fewer than 5 full time staff members so interns make a big difference in our capacity to serve our constituency. We empower student interns to take ownership of projects, from social media management to research projects. At the end of an internship, they walk away with skills as well as the context of their contributions to the organization. We value their work and their perspectives as we continue to develop our program offerings.
